Job offer: Reception of the public and administrative support (full-time)

Employer: The Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel, located in Waterloo, is a centre of excellence and a professional springboard for international artists in the field of classical music. The Music Chapel organises a season of 90 concerts on site and collaborates with numerous other concert venues (www.musicchapel.org).

Place of employment: Chaussée de Tervuren 445, 1410 Waterloo

Position: Reception of the public and administrative support

Type: Full-time contract of indefinite duration.

Working closely with the artistic, ticketing and logistics departments, you will be responsible for the administrative tasks involved in welcoming artists in residence and the public.

Profile:

  • Trilingual in French, Dutch and English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to adapt
  • Positive and empathetic attitude
  • Organisational skills
  • Motivation, autonomy, availability, flexibility and resistance to stress
  • Proficiency in essential IT tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Class B driving licence
  • You have an interest in music and are motivated by the work of the Music Chapel.

Tasks :

  • First point of contact between the institution and visitors
    • Welcoming artists, members of the public and visitors
    • Answering the telephone
  • Manage the organisation of accommodation for artists
    • Reservations
    • Managing payments
    • Checking in and out of studios
  • Coordinate the Artist Village
    • Relations with our catering partner
    • Ordering specific supplies
  • Various administrative tasks
    • Mail management
    • Managing the purchase of office equipment
    • Monitoring schedules
    • Possible involvement in the finance department
