Artist Diploma - Zachary Mowitz

20:15 Music Chapel, Studio Haas Teichen

I am grateful to collaborate with my mentor Gary Hoffman and long-time friend Nick DiBerardino on his new work for two cellos, which explores humanity’s relationship with our natural world. I found it particularly appropriate to join this new piece with works by Bach and Chopin, which, though dark, find glimmers of hope in the deepest caverns of human uncertainty.

Zachary Mowitz is very concerned about climate change issues, and he wanted to share with us the work of the Tempo organization, “Music for climate action”.
