Artist Diploma - François Pardailhé
For my Artist Diploma at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel, I have devised a programme retracing my career as a musician. From my beginnings, via the French horn, to chamber music and, of course, opera. I wanted to pay tribute to all the teachers and artists who have accompanied me since my artistic beginnings. In this programme, you will hear composers such as Beethoven, Berlioz, Gounod and Bizet, as well as lesser-known composers such as Kreutzer and Nicolaï. I have also chosen to celebrate Théodore Dubois in particular, a French composer of the 19thᵉ-XXth century, as well as the performer Claude Nougaro, whose centenary we are celebrating, and the 20th anniversary of their deaths respectively.
