Our singers will take you on an adventurous journey with Don Quichotte. Mezzo-soprano Marion Vergez-Pascal and bass-baritone Oleg Volkov bring this story to life with plenty of theatrical flair and playful energy, making the concert extra engaging and fun for both children and adults.
Together with pianist Kira Parfeevets, they give the legendary knight of La Mancha a colourful voice, full of passion, humour, and courage. The highlight is Jules Massenet’s Don Quichotte, where singing and theatrical expression go hand in hand.
With music by Maurice Ravel and Jacques Ibert as well, this promises to be a warm and accessible performance the whole family can enjoy. A perfect opportunity to laugh, dream, and discover the magic of classical music together with your children!
WORKSHOP FOR CHILDREN
During the first part of the concert, Miriam de Wolf will lead a fun, hands-on musical workshop at the Music Chapel, designed especially for children.
They will playfully explore the world of Don Quixote, discovering the music from the inside through listening, singing, and movement.
After the workshop, the children will rejoin their parents to enjoy the second part of the concert together.
We’ll provide soft cushions so they can experience the music comfortably from the front row!
A musical morning for the whole family to enjoy!
🕚 Workshop starts at: 11:15 AM
