International Chamber Classics Festival
Looking Back on a Successful Second Edition
From the 28th of April to the 1st of May, the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel and the Musical Instruments Museum (MIM) in Brussels provided the setting for the second edition of the International Chamber Classics Festival (ICCF). Over the course of four days, renowned masters and emerging talents came together for an intensive program of masterclasses and public concerts.
Organized by the CMDI Group in partnership with the Music Chapel, the festival reaffirms its role as a premier platform for artistic transmission and chamber music at the highest level.
Under the leadership of Artistic Director David Abrahamyan, the young musicians benefited from the expertise of a distinguished faculty, including pianists Enrico Pace and Giuliano Mazzoccante, cellist Claudio Bohórquez, violinist Yossif Ivanov, and violists Matthew McDowell and Mihai Cocea.
It was a privilege to once again welcome this inspiring group of artists and young talents. ICCF creates an invaluable space for dialogue and artistic exchange, both in the masterclasses and on stage. We would like to thank the CMDI Group and, in particular, its President, Konstantin Ishkhanov, for their vision, dedication, and the wonderful collaboration that makes this project possible.
With this successful edition, the ICCF further anchors itself within the European chamber music landscape. The Music Chapel looks forward to the continued evolution of this partnership and the synergies it will generate for future generations of musicians.
