Music Chapel Festival 2024

This year, we invite you to travel under the Italian sun on 4 prestigious evenings.
Our opening concert, in collaboration with the Académie de la Philharmonie du Luxembourg, will showcase the MuCH Ensemble. Accompanied by soloists from the Music Chapel and conducted by Italian violinist Massimo Quarta, this first evening will be an opportunity to fully embark on this Italian journey and its influences on the world of music.
From G. Puccini to G. Verdi, G. Rossini, V. Bellini, H. Berlioz, C. Gounod and of course W. A. Mozart, we invite you to savour the great Italian ‘Arie d’Opera’ on this second evening, conducted by Denis Segond. Our MuCH Singers, joined by the Orchestre de l’Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège, will take you through an evening filled with passion.
And what would Italy be without the flamboyant A. Vivaldi? Immerse yourself in the work of this emblematic figure of Italian baroque music with the Belgian orchestra Il Gardellino alongside our Artists in Residence.
The Music Chapel festival will conclude in style with the traditional grand closing concert, for which we have the immense pleasure of welcoming the Brussels Philharmonic under the baton of Martijn Dendievel. Together, they will enhance the performances of our soloists in a romantic Franco-Italian getaway.
The 4-day programme also includes seven chamber music concerts, the Carnaval des Animaux for families, the Fest’OFF and a special surprise for children on Saturday December 7th!
