The La Dolce Volta label, the distributor Outhere and the Music Chapel present the new CD release of the complete string quartets of Ludwig van Beethoven by the Quatuor Ysaÿe .
It was at the instigation of our Master in Residence for Viola, Miguel Da Silva, that the Quatuor Ysaÿe embarked on the adventure of performing the complete string quartets of Beethoven. In 2008, during concerts at the Musée d’Orsay, they recorded these works over a period of six weeks. Now the public will have the opportunity to enjoy their achievement in the comfort of their own homes with this new CD.
The Quatuor Yasÿe’s achievement here is in the tradition of the greatest.
