Sharing Joy 2023

Sharing Joy On Tour from 23 to 28 January 2023.

In December 2020, the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel organised a series of concerts in places where music has no place: hospitals, migrant centres, prisons, rest homes, etc. This initiative, called « Sharing Christmas On Tour », received the support and visit of Her Majesty Queen Mathilde.

In January 2022, The Music Chapel initiated a new project called Sharing Joy On Tour, which has a similar mission: to present concerts by Artists in Residence at the Music Chapel in various locations, for vulnerable audiences.

This year, Sharing Joy On Tour will take place from 23 to 28 January 2023.

Sharing Joy On Tour, like Sharing Christmas On Tour, is an initiative that can be realised thanks to the unfailing support of the Fondation Futur 21.

In preparation of the Sharing joy Tour

Mark Withers Workshop

from 19th to 21st January

As part of this community tour, we are pleased to collaborate with special guest Mark Withers (musician and educational project leader). For the second year in a row, he will lead a 3-day workshop in preparation for the Sharing Joy Tour.
The aim of these workshops is to give keys to connect the teams and musicians of the Music Chapel with the different types of audience encountered through these community projects.
