Eté Musical: Closing concerts
And a genuine barbecue in the gardens
Our summer series slowly comes to an end…
The Eté musical Series was a great success thanks to you and allowed the resumption of activity at the Chapel, as well as its reopening to the public after last spring’s months of uncertainty. It also gave our artists the opportunity to get back on stage and reconnect with the public.
Thank you to the public for their presence and support!
Thank you to the artists for their talent!
Thank you to the structural partners of the Chapel and especially for this series the Province of Walloon Brabant and the Commune of Waterloo!
Closing concerts…
To end this series at the height, three concerts will take place on Thursday, August 27th:
- At 11.30 a.m., a concert by the young singers of the Equinox choir from Brussels, who will meet at the Music Chapel for a three-day workshop at the end of which they will present the results of their work to the public, under the direction of their choirmaster Zeno Popescu. They will perform a varied repertoire mixing different languages and cultures, from baroque to world music. Tickets
- At 6 p.m., in the presence of Sophie Koch (Guest Master in Residence), the soloists of the Chapel’s singing class will offer a recital that will take you through times and genres, accompanied by the pianist Philippe Riga. Tickets
- Finally, on the occasion of the closing concert at 8.15 pm, we will welcome the Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie, conducted by Vahan Mardirossian, alongside artists in residence Alexandra Cooreman, Leon Blekh and Guillaume Wang for a program including works by Jacob Gade, Leroy Andersen, and Pablo de Sarasate. Tickets
Please note that wearing a mask is now mandatory to attend these events. Our team will do everything possible to ensure that you can enjoy these concerts in complete safety.
