23:00 @RTBF, La Trois

At the invitation of the FPS Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Cooperation, the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel is pleased to mark the Belgian National Day with an exceptional digital concert entitled “HOPE” that will be broadcast on 21 July 2020.

As a result of the unprecedented health crisis that has reached all corners of the world, performing artists, musicians among them, have been in lockdown. After three months of isolation, they are now very eager to come together on stage in a highly symbolic venue, the Hall of mirrors of the Royal Palace in Brussels, in order to perform several chamber music pieces spanning two centuries of history, from Vivaldi and Bach to Offenbach and Fauré.

This eclectic concert is bound to delight the online audience, to whom this concert is addressed.

More than 20 musicians – including masters in residence at the Music Chapel, artists in residence, associate artists, and alumni – will perform together during this concert, an event that is sure to be unforgettable.

This concert, recorded in the Royal Palace in Brussels, will be broadcast throughout the Belgian diplomatic network, on the Belgian public channels, on TV5 and on social networks (including the Music Chapel’s YouTube channel) as well as on the Pickx channel of Proximus.

A prestigious national concert and a sign of HOPE for everyone!
