A Night at the Opéra
MuCH Sundays
This concert takes the whole family on a sparkling journey through the world of opera, featuring highlights from the repertoires of Gluck, Schubert, Verdi, Mozart, and more.
From the moving arias of Gluck’s Orpheus and Eurydice to Schubert’s song Der Hirt auf dem Felsen, and the lively fantasies on Verdi’s famous operas La Traviata and Rigoletto, experience how beautiful singing, captivating melodies, and virtuosic instrumental parts come together to tell an exciting story.
With flutist Marc Grauwels, pianist Marie Datcharry, clarinetist Ronald Van Spaendonck, and the enchanting voices of Marion Bauwens (soprano) and Marie-Juliette Ghazarian (mezzo-soprano), the magic of opera is brought to life in an accessible and engaging way.
With a mix of vocal and instrumental pieces—often short and catchy—this concert is ideal for young listeners and families wanting to explore the richness and beauty of opera and classical music together.
