Merci Maestro !
20 years of musical transmission with José van Dam
With Artists in residence & Associate Artists
An exceptional evening is in store, celebrating a melodious handover between three exceptional masters. Like a note held in time, José van Dam has left an indelible mark as Master-in-Residence at the Music Chapel. His deep voice and emotional interpretation captivated hearts and souls, guiding young talent towards musical excellence. At this special event, the artists in residence and many associate artists will join our loyal audience and the entire team at the Chapel in an evening of music to express our sincere gratitude to José van Dam, whose 20 years of passionate mentoring have guided and inspired young artists. While we honour José van Dam’s achievements, we also enthusiastically welcome Stéphane Degout and Sophie Koch, who are taking up the torch of music teaching in the singing department. An unforgettable evening where music transcends the ages, forging a memorable union between the generations.
