Bernard de Launoit was a charismatic leader, an gifted CEO, inspiring, with a lively intelligence, constantly constantly on the lookout for new projects, inspiring his team, as well as the young talent at La Chapelle Musicale in his wake.
He has lived his life with passion. An all-consuming passion for art in all its forms and an infinite love of classical for classical music, which led him to take the helm of the Chapelle Musicale for nearly 20 years, bringing our our institution to shine throughout the world, under the excellence. One year after his departure, La Chapelle Musicale wishes to would like to pay a fitting tribute to this CEO in the history of our institution. During these Schubertiades, we invite you to share some of Bernard’s favourite pieces, for an evening an evening that we want to be in his image: dynamic and full of musical colour!
We would like to extend our warmest thanks to the artists – Masters, Associate Artists (Alumni) or Artists in Residence – who are who are taking part in this evening of remembrance.
