Takumi Nozawa, viola
Born in 1994 in Japan, Takumi Nozawa started study of violin at age 4. In 2012, he was admitted to Tokyo University of the Arts and studied violin with Natsumi Tamai.
At the age of 21, he achieved viola diploma of Master with Acanthus prize at Tokyo University of the Arts. He continued his studies at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève under Miguel da Silva.
He has benefited from the guidance of such renowned artists as Aki Saulière, David Quiggle, Raphael Bell, Yuko Mori, Heiichiro Oyama, Gabor Takacs-Nagy.
From 2013, he plays from Nagaokakyo chamber ensemble as a member.
In 2020 he entered the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel as artist in residence in the class Miguel da Silva.
Takumi benefits from a scholarship granted by the Baillet Latour Fund
