The Postgraduate Clarinet Program “Zoé Crampon"

new collaboration

For the upcoming 2026-2027 season, the Music Chapel is delighted to partner with International Music Promotion (IMP), the KASK & Conservatorium (HOGENT-Howest) and Buffet Crampon. This synergy offers new artistic perspectives for both the Music Chapel’s Artists in residence and external young talent.

Following entrance auditions, 3 to 5 selected clarinetists will have the opportunity to attend masterclasses at the Ghent Conservatory and the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel. This specific partnership allows them to work directly with the Artists and Masters in residence, as well as international Guest Masters. The primary focus is on chamber music repertoire, creating a unique dynamic of exchange without altering the structure of the existing residency sections.

The Postgraduate Clarinet Program Zoé Crampon

The program relies on close collaboration between the partners: the Conservatory provides the academic framework and research guidance. Buffet Crampon facilitates the involvement of international master clarinetists. IMP is responsible for artistic-pedagogical coordination and the organization of external concerts. The Music Chapel hosts various masterclasses and provides the clarinetists and its own Artists in residence with access to the professional music circuit.
