Piano 2021

The Music Chapel is proud to announce that Jonathan Fournel and Sergueï Redkin are among the six finalists of the 2021 piano Queen Elisabeth Competition.

The 2021 edition of the Queen Elisabeth Competition is, as we know, entirely digital. This is a great challenge, without an audience in the concert halls… You can however follow the performances of the “Chapel” candidates via the competition’s website and on La Trois.

After the set piece (Bruno Mantovani: “D’un jardin féérique”), they will perform their concerto: Brahms’ Second for Jonathan Fournel and Rachmaninov’s Third for Sergei Redkin.
They will be accompanied by the Belgian National Orchestra, conducted by Hugh Wolff.

We wish them a great final, as well as all of us behind our screens!
