La musique du poème Amitié, pour deux violons et orchestre, s’égare de souvenir en souvenir, nourrie par de longues années de partage entre Ysaÿe et son ami Lindenlaub.
La divagation se poursuit dans la rêverie pour quatuor solo et orchestre à cordes intitulé Harmonies du soir.
De muziek van het poème Amitié, voor twee violen en orkest, dwaalt van herinnering tot herinnering, gevoed door de vele jaren van uitwisseling tussen Ysaÿe en zijn vriend Lindenlaub. De fantasieën zetten zich voort in de mijmering voor kwartet solo en strijkorkest, getiteld Harmonies du soir.
