Nostos - Memory and Exile
Music Chapel Festival - A Queen's Wanderings
“Nostos” combines artistic creation with educational impact, offering every child a unique opportunity to discover themselves through art and to share this experience with a broad and diverse audience.
The project Nostos – Memory and Exile is an intercultural musical creation led by Chorales Equinox and the InAlto ensemble.
It brings together early music and traditional Mediterranean songs with an educational approach involving the Equinox Children’s Choir, made up of young people from vulnerable backgrounds.
Through the lens of Odysseus’s Ulysse and the music of the 16th and 17th centuries, the project explores the universal themes of exile and the journey back to oneself. It offers children and audiences an artistic and emotional journey combining memory, wandering and cultural discovery.
