Visions et Prophéties

20:15 Music Chapel, Studio Haas Teichen

Music is a language that goes far beyond words, an art that transfigures the everyday. Naturally, mystical experiences and visions that connect past, future, and present in a way that is different from our usual experience have impressed poets and composers in different eras.

This programme is built around visions and prophecies, of which the works of Roland de Lassus, Sigismondo d’India, Tarquinio Merula or Henry Purcell bear masterly witness.
