For this recital, the American violinist Stella Chen, laureate of the Queen Elisabeth Competition 2019, offers a colorful repertoire. From the classicism that still hues Beethoven’s 3rd sonata, til the free and exuberant lyricism of Strauss sonatas through the virtuoso rhythms of the Caprice d’après l’Etude en forme de valse de Saint-Saëns of Ysaÿe and the First Rhapsody of Bartók.
