Christia Hudziy

Born into a family of musicians in Lviv, Ukraine, Christia Hudziy was predestined for an artistic career. At age 11 she made her debut as a soloist with the Lviv Symphony Orchestra. Her achievements led her to be distinguished and rewarded by the President of Ukraine. She then perfected her skills in France at the Conservatoire of Paris, supported by the Fondation Nadia et Lili Boulanger, and then at the Conservatoires of Lyons and Milan. Christia is a laureate of many international competitions in Europe, including the chamber music competition of the Concertgebouw (Amsterdam) and the piano competition “Giovani Talenti Pia Tebaldini”, where she won both the First Prize and a Special Award. She also obtained an international Yamaha grant.

She is a regular guest at international festivals, among which La Roque d’Anthéron, Radio France and Musée d’Orsay, Avignon, Festival du Vexin, etc. After four years as artist-in-residence at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel, a prestigious school of music founded by Queen Elisabeth, destined for young talent from around the world,

Christia Hudziy is continuing her career as a soloist and chamber musician, performing in France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland, Ukraine, and England. She recently performed as a soloist with the philharmonic orchestras of London, Belgium and Osaka. She is also a pianist and coach at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in the class of Augustin Dumay, with whom she regularly performs in chamber music.
