Drawing on her Chinese, French and Belgian heritage, as well as a childhood spent partly in Georgia, Syria and Morocco, Anaïs Cassiers has followed a multicultural path that has shaped her rich and open-minded approach to classical music, inspiring her to bring her Western and Eastern heritages together in a distinctive musical identity.

After winning several first prizes in competitions in Morocco between 2008 and 2010, she returned to Belgium in 2011 and continued her musical training at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels with Éliane Reyes.

In 2018, Anaïs joined the Artist-in-Residence Programme at the Ingesund Piano Center in Arvika, Sweden, where she studied under the artistic and pianistic guidance of renowned teacher Julia Mustonen-Dahlkvist.

She subsequently completed her master’s degree at the Haute école de musique de Genève in Cédric Pescia’s class, while also studying with pianist and teacher Prisca Benoit. Anaïs has been invited to perform at numerous festivals, including the Musiq’3 Festival, the Festival Chopin de Nohant, the Lisztomanias, the Festival Chopin de Genève, the Gstaad New Year Music Festival, the Helsingborg Piano Festival and the Victoria Spring Classics, as well as in some of Europe’s most prestigious concert halls.
