Alice Crémades

soprano

Alice Crémades began studying music in early childhood with the clarinet before turning to vocal studies. After completing a literary preparatory programme, she began her vocal training with Marido Loyer in Amiens.

She then studied in Lionel Peintre’s class in Paris, where she graduated with distinction. She continued her training with Valérie Guillorit at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, and later at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris in Céline Laly’s class and Anne Le Bozec’s vocal accompaniment class, as a duo with pianist Simon Echarte.

In 2023, Alice Crémades won First Prize at the Concours Bellan and made her solo debut as Nella in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi at the Grans Festival. A laureate of the Académie Ravel alongside Pauline Gaillard and Ionah Maiatsky, she subsequently performed in recital with them at several French festivals.

In 2025, as a member of the MM Academy of La Monnaie in Brussels, she performed the role of the Nightingale in Respighi’s La bella dormente nel bosco. She also sang the roles of the Fire, the Nightingale and the Shepherdess in Ravel’s L’Enfant et les sortilèges, first under the direction of Alphonse Cemin and later Nicolas Chalvin at the Festival de l’Exception lyrique.

She also performed the Queen of the Night in several adaptations of Die Zauberflöte in France, including in partnership with the Opéra de Saint-Étienne, as well as in Belgium and Switzerland. In summer 2025, she received the City of Torgau Prize at the Internationale Sängerakademie in Germany.

In 2026, she made her debut at the Théâtre du Châtelet, covering the role of Violaine Vercors in Philippe Leroux’s L’Annonce faite à Marie. During the summer, she performed the soprano solo part in Mozart’s Requiem during a tour of French festivals with the Orchestre de chambre Nouvelle Europe under the direction of Nicolas Krauze. She is supported by the Safran Foundation.

Alongside her solo career, she is a member of the Chœur de chambre de Namur, through which she notably collaborated with Leonardo García Alarcón and his ensemble Cappella Mediterranea as part of the 2026 Festival d’Aix-en-Provence.

Alice Crémades has been an Artist in residence at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel since 2026, under the direction of Sophie Koch and Stéphane Degout.
