Having won First Prize in music theory at the age of 14 at the Conservatoire of Brussels, she continued her piano studies at the Conservatoire under the brilliant pianist Dominique Cornil in 2004, working with leading figures of the music world (Guy Danel, Marie Hallynck, Eliane Reyes, Muhiddin Dürrüoglu-Demiriz, Sergio Tiempo, etc.).

In 2008 Julie was a laureate of the Fondation Horlait-Dapsens. She also obtained a “Prix Spécial du Patrimoine” from the Conservatoire for her outstanding achievement. The holder of an advanced master’s degree in piano as well as teaching, Julie was hired as an accompanist at the Conservatoire of Brussels upon the completion of her studies.
