Rino Yoshimoto, violin

Japanese violinist Rino Yoshimoto has captivated audiences around the world.
In 2019, she made her solo debut at Carnegie Hall and the Wiener Konzerthaus. Mastering a vast repertoire, she has performed with orchestras in Japan, China, Austria, Bulgaria, Greece, the United States and Italy.
In 2021, she made her solo debut at the Konzerthaus with the Vienna Chamber Orchestra. In 2022, she completed a successful tour of Spain with the same ensemble and made her debut in the Golden Hall of the Vienna Musikverein with the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra.
Rino is currently studying with Professor Michael Frischenschlager at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, as well as with Professor Augustin Dumay at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel.
Recognised for her exceptional musicality, Rino is a laureate of numerous international violin competitions, including the Fritz Kreisler International Violin Competition (2022), the Shanghai Isaac Stern International Violin Competition (2020), the International Johannes Brahms Competition (2017–2019) and the 16th Padua International Music Competition “Premio Città di Padova” (2018).
A finalist at the Shanghai International Violin Competition, she was a scholarship student of the Rohm Music Foundation in Japan from 2020 to 2021.
Rino plays the “Muntz” Stradivarius (1736), on loan from the Nippon Music Foundation.
Rino has been granted a scholarship by an anonymous donor.
She is now an Associate Artist of the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel.
