Mendelssohn – Puccini – Schulhoff

Voor het laatste concert van 2025 verwelkomt KBR het Quartetto Goldberg, een ensemble waarvan de naam verwijst naar de beroemde variaties van J. S. Bach. Violisten Jingzhi Zhang en Giacomo Lucato, altvioliste Matilde Simionato en cellist Martino Simionato vervolmaken momenteel hun opleiding aan de Muziekkapel Koningin Elisabeth, waarmee KBR al vele jaren samenwerkt. Op het programma staan de Cinq pièces van de Tsjechische componist Erwin Schulhoff (1924), het melancholische Crisantemi van Giacomo Puccini (1890) en het monumentale Strijkkwartet opus 44 nr. 2 van Mendelssohn, gecomponeerd in Leipzig in 1837.
