Nieuwjaarsconcert
Barokmuziek heeft iets diep ontroerends. In tegenstelling tot “filosofische” muziek, communiceert barokmuziek eenvoudig en direct. Het biedt een vrijheid van interpretatie die elke muzikant in staat stelt om zijn of haar eigen stem te vinden. In dit programma wil ik de aantrekkingskracht van deze meesterwerken uit de Barok delen, evenals de werken van latere componisten die geïnspireerd werden door barokmuziek. Net als zij hoop ik mijn eigen muzikale stem te ontwikkelen, gebruikmakend van de kennis en artisticiteit die ik heb opgedaan bij mijn Meesters en de grote musici uit het verleden. Tot slot ben ik mijn twee mentoren, die me tijdens mijn hele studie hebben geïnspireerd, zeer erkentelijk en ik wil Gary Hoffman bedanken om samen met mij Vivaldi’s dubbelconcerto uit te voeren.
