    Auditions for the enoa production Chess by sending recording, or during workshop in October. The opera will involve 32 soloists – the number of performers corresponds to chessboard squares used in the game symbolizing the 32 chess pieces. The performers include 8 singers, 8 dancers and 16 instrumentalists and a conductor. The opera is dedicated ti Mikhail Tal, the Magician from Riga, who 50 years ago became the World Chess Champion /1960/. He sometimes is referred to as the last romantic of chess.

    Workshop with Orquestra Gulbenkian focusing particular attention on the relationship between singers, corepetiteurs, conductor and staging work, planned for singers and pianists.     Led by one of the most outstanding Kammersängerin and lyric soprano of our times, Helen Donath will approach students in voice technique of most vocal ranges: soprano, mezzosoprano, tenor, baritone, bass, based on her entire life experience singing operas, oratorios and songs by Mozart, Bach, Richard Strauss, Schubert and Schumann in roles like Pamina, Sophie, Susanna, Annchen and Gretel.
    Participants can choose a concrete Opera, Lied, Oratory, etc, to develop this score, as well as to learn more about the composer’s style and to interpret the work

Participants can choose a concrete Opera, Lied, Oratory, Cantata to develop this score, as well as to learn more about the composer’s background and to interpret the work.
