Lorenzo Bovitutti, piano

Italian pianist Lorenzo Bovitutti was born in 1993 close to Milan and began his piano studies at 8 years old, upon his precise and spontaneous request.

He’s currently Artist in Residence at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel (Bruxelles), where he studies with Louis Lortie and Avedis Kouyoumdjian.

He has been mentored by Roberto Plano since 2007, graduating under his precious guidance with 10/10 cum laude and a honorable mention in 2016 at the ‘Vivaldi’ Conservatory in Alessandria, Italy.

Bovitutti extensively performed recitals throughout Italy (he recently played his debut recital for the prestigious Società dei Concerti in Milan) as well as in Argentina, Lithuania, Croatia, France and Belgium. He also played Mozart Piano Concerto K. 414, Beethoven Piano Concerto No. 1 and Bach F minor Concerto, with Eine Kleine Ensemble, Young Belgian Strings and LacMus Ensemble. Moreover, he regularly performs with Giona Pasquetto, clarinetist of Accademia Teatro alla Scala.

Bovitutti is founder and artistic director of “Donatori di Musica – Gallarate”: a charitable Concert Season in his hometown, where top italian performers are invited to play for terminally ill patients. A voracious reader, he finds great inspiration in the writings of Epictetus, Dostoyevski and Ken Wilber.

Bovitutti’s activities are generously supported by De Sono – Associazione per la Musica.
