A festival anchored in its city!

After the difficult and transformative years of 2020 and 2021, with a mixed 4th edition that was both live and online in June of last year, this year the MuCH Waterloo Festival 2022, which runs from 8 to 12 June, will be an anniversary edition (5th edition) anchored in its community (at the Chapel and in other places of the municipality) and focused once more on the main mission of the Chapel: the transmission of knowledge. This transmission involves masters and emerging talents, guests and soloists in residence as well as local guests (Les Amicroches) and faithful partners (Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie and the Equinox Choir).
Chamber musicrecitalssection marathonsopen-air shows and concertsactivities for the youngesta welcome and catering to suit all tastes, a park and quality concert venues, a wide range of events await you from 8 to 12 June. And let’s not forget of course a day for the general public, the traditional Garden Party on Sunday 12 June aimed at young music lovers along with their parents and grandparents. A journey into the world of the Chapel.
Frank Braley, Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden, Miguel da Silva and Augustin Dumay will be on stage with young artists and distinguished guests while Miguel da Silva and Louis Lortie will be in the audience with you to listen to their section. Yossif Ivanov, Júlia Pusker, Sergei Redkin, Nancy Zhou, Lucienne Renaudin Vary as well as Michael Guttman and Jing Zhao will also be among the guests performing on stage.

As it recovers its cheerful and dynamic character, the festival will provide us with moments of happiness as we step out of time and into the world of music.

The Music Chapel wishes to thank all its structural partners, including the sponsors ING, Proximus and Ginion, as well as the partners of this 5th edition of the MuCH Waterloo Festival: the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, the National Lottery, the Province of Walloon Brabant and of course the Municipality of Waterloo.

I wish you all a delightful MuCH Waterloo Festival!
