The Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel is happy to announce the selection of two artists in residence for the final of the Queen Elisabeth Cello Competition 2022.
Oleksiy Shadrin & Stéphanie Huang were selected for the final round of the Queen Elisabeth Competition. We will therefore see and support them again from Monday 30 May for this final stage of the Competition.
The final will start this Monday, May 30 in Bozar and will continue until Saturday, June 4 at 8 pm each night.
Each evening, the audience will hear two finalists, accompanied by the Brussels Philharmonic, conducted by Stéphane Denève. Each finalist will perform a concerto of his or her choice, as well as the unpublished work specially commissioned for this year’s competition.
