What’s up on Tour this Summer?

Summer holidays are finally here! While you’re probably be going to slow it down and take a (well deserved) rest, our artists in residence are keeping up the pace, with series of concerts both in Belgium & in the world.

In Belgium

1. Festival Musicorum

@Musées Royaux des Beaux-Arts de Belgique: 04.07.19 – 12:15

The Festival Musicorum (former « Festival des Minimes ») has been organizing  classical music concerts in the heart of Brussels for many years. Great international artists honour the festival each year with their presence. They share the stage with young talented musicians, among which Riana Anthony &  Julia Pùsker, respectively cellist & violinist in residence at the Music Chapel. They will be performing pieces for solo cello and solo violin from J. S. Bach and C. A. Piatti, as well as B. Bartok’s Hungarian Folk Melodies and J. Halvorsen’s Passacaglia, after G.F Handel Passacaglia from the Suite No. 7 in G minor for harpsichord.

2. Series “Vauxhall Summer” @Vaux-Hall:

For the first representation, the audience of the Vaux-Hall will have the pleasure to listen to the violinist in residence Julia Pùsker , accompanied by the pianist Dana Protopopescu.

They will be performing the Variations on Trockne Blumen from F. Schubert and the violin sonata from E. Elgar.

After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music.
