Chanter la poésie : du lied au slam. Repenser la création musicale au 21ème siècle

Claire Pasquier, stage director
Camille Pier, slam
Naomi Couquet, mezzo-soprano

Every day, at 7:15 pm, meet Sophie van der Stegen and Xavier Falques in the company of artists from the festival and other surprise guests, to discuss topics related to the theme of the festival, read music and poetry, letters, etc…

Claire Pasquier is a director of participative and immersive projects, co-founder of the Meute collective, in residence at the Lille Opera. The collective focuses its artistic research on creation open to new audiences. Camille Pier is a slammer and cabaret artist. She creates hybrid poems and songs for performance and illustration. Multiple artist, she also has several names. Lately, the different voices mingle in a recital of songs on stage entitled “Je est l’un des nôtres”. Naomi Couquet is a mezzo-soprano, artist in residence at the Music Chapel. A strong advocate of female composers, she also composes her own songs. With these three artists, we will explore what it is to sing, on texts, from Lied to Slam. We will also explore the future of “classical” music creation in an urban environment, open to non-habituated audiences. It will also be an opportunity to
to tell the story of the genesis of the project “Do you like Bach?”, created on Saturday, December 4 in Flagey, with the Equinox, as part of the Community Projects of the Chapelle Musicale.

And to complete your pleasure, the Poki Poke bar is open every day from 6pm and Saturday at 12pm!

Pumpkin soup, Edamame, mandarins, not to mention the inevitable poke bowls (salmon, chicken, veggie) are on the menu, mouth-watering, the festival-goer!
