If the lullaby allows the parent and child to establish an intimate relationship by transmitting sounds, intonations, emotions, memories or stories specific to the local culture, it is also a question of intimacy in the link that is forged between the recital performer and his or her audience.
This relationship between intimacy and the voice, which has long nourished my thinking as an artist, has led me to the terrain of dreams. Lullaby Baby is a collection of lullabies gleaned from repertoires such as French and foreign melodies, Lieder, but also jazz, French chanson, childhood cartoons and pop music.
