‘I wanted this program to be one of variety, as to reflect the variety of experiences I had during my wonderful time at the Chapelle Musicale. First of all, I’m delighted to be joined by Gary Hoffman for the Kodaly Duo for violin and cello, encapsulating both the intimacy and grandeur of chamber music. Afterwards, in the company of the ORCW – Chausson’s haunting Poème (dedicated to Ysaÿe), Mozart’s effervescent Violin Concerto No. 5, and Vaughan Williams’ ethereal The Lark Ascending.’
