The Aurora Piano Quartet is an ensemble founded in 2015 in Geneva by young musicians from all over the world and who currently study in Geneva, Zurich, Salzburg and London.

The quartet regularly receives advice from members of the Artemis, Danel, Ébène, Takács and Ysaÿe quartets, the Trio Wanderer as well as from Claire Désert, Giovanni Gnocchi, François Guye, Nobuko Imai, Christian Ivaldi, Avedis Kouyoumdjian, Tedi Papavrami, Jean-Claude Pennetier, Imre Rohmann, Emmanuel Strosser, Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden and Pavel Vernikov.

The Aurora Piano Quartet regularly performs in France, Belgium, Austria and Switzerland. The quartet was invited to the Swiss Chamber Music Festival in Adelboden, the Académie Villecroze, the Porrentruy Piano Festival. the International Piano Festival La Roque d’Anthéron and was broadcasted live on France Musique, the Radio Télévision Belge Francophone and the Radio Télévision Suisse. The ensemble toured Brazil and Argentina in 2016, giving numerous concerts and masterclasses.

Prizewinner at the Illzach International Chamber Music Competition and the Orpheus Chamber Music Competition, the ensemble is the first piano quartet in residence at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Belgium.
