Aleksandra Orlowska-Jablonska, soprano
Student at The Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw – Vocal Department (5th year), she graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin High School of Music in Warsaw, and then became a finalist of vocal competitions in Warsaw, Wroclaw, Czestochowa.
In June 2010 she took part in 6. Classic Night – Verein Opera in Zurich, and last year, she frequently performed with the Philharmonic Orchestras of Kielce, Jelenia Góra, Zamość and with Pueri Cantores Plocenses Choir in Cathedral in Płock.
Aleksandra keeps improving her skills at master classes, with musicians such as Izabella Kłosińska, Anita Garanca, Jose van Dam, Jocelyne Dienst-Bladin, Dale Fundling, Andrejs Zagars, Ewa Podleś, Francisco Araiza, Tom Krause, Dawn Upshaw, Ryszard Karczykowski, Udo Reinemann, Maciej Pikulski or Anna Marchwińska.
While she was still a student at university, she sang leading roles in operas, as La Boheme of G. Puccini, as Musetta; Le nozze di Figaro – W.A. Mozart, as Sussanna, Die Verschworenen – F. Schubert, as Helene and Helen in Benjamin Britten’s Midsummer Night’s Dream in production of Grand Theater in Warsaw and University of Music. In June 2011, after a successful audition, she joined the Academy of Opera, a program for young singers at the Grand Theater-National Opera in Warsaw.
From artistic season 2012/13 she started a partnership with the Grand Theater-National Opera as a soloist (Kate Pinkerton – Madama Butterfly-G.Puccini, Tebaldo – Don Carlos G.Verdi). In November 2012 she took part in the first historical recording of polish opera “Zamek na Czorsztynie” of Karol Kurpiński for DUX Recording Producers. She also cooperated with conductors such as MirosławJacek Błaszczyk, Anna Bramska, Patrick Fournillier, Czesław Grabowski, Marta Kluczyńska, Tadeusz Kozłowski, Maja Metelska, Carlo Montanaro, Mieczysław Nowakowski, Jerzy Salwarowski, Tadeusz Wicherek, Tadeusz Wojciechowski.
