The second edition of the MuCH Waterloo Festival has come to an end this sunday with the traditionnal Garden Party. Once more, this week of festival has been rich in exceptionnal moments but also in moments of sharing around music.

The team of the Music Chapel and the artists would like to thank you for your presence and support during this 2018 festival, and hope to see you next year for our 3d edition from June 12 to June 16 2019!
Meanwhile, here’s a flashback to iconic moments of this 2018 edition.

Joachim Schnerf  has won the Cercle Chapel price with “Cette nuit”, published by Zulma Editions ! The audience fell for the universe of the author and of his characters…The jury members had it right, since “Cette nui” has received two days after the 2018 Orange price in Paris.

On June 6th, Julia PuskerAlexandra CooremanHélène Desaint, Jeong Hyoun LeeNareh Argamanyan, Isaline Leloup, Astrig Siranossian as well as our two Masters in residence Augustin Dumay & Louis Lortie welcomed the spectators for a prestigious night.

The Symfonieorkest Vlaanderen, Nareh Argamanyan & Djordje Radevski offered us a magnificent concert dedicated to russian composers on the 8th of June at Sint-Johns International School.

On June 9th at the Ferme de Mont-Saint-JeanJulia Szproch & Katarina Van Droogenbroeck, along with the Muffati, offered us an amazing interpretation of Pergolese’s Stabat Mater.

Finally, the Garden Party welcomed hundreds of people at the Music Chapel for no less than 17 concerts and a lot of activities for the whole family on a sunny day, dedicated to musical discovery.

The rest of the 2017-2018 season will also be exciting, since the Music Chamber Marathon of the Artemis quartet will take place on June 14th. It will be followed by the Viola Marathon of Miguel da Silva’s class on the 19th of June, and by three exceptionnal concerts of the Busch trio, which concludes its years of training at the Music Chapel on June 19th, 21 th & 23th. Those concerts will be recorded by Heliox, one of the most famous audiovisual production house of the artistic world. They are also the result of a collaboration with Outhere Music, that allowed the Trio to record the whole chamber music pieces with piano of Dvorak, interpreted during the concerts.

We look forward to end this season in your company !
